Giving voice to victims of Family Health Centers of San Diego
A current mental health therapist at FHCSD describes a caseload of 150 plus cases and seeing 37 to 40 hours a week and the burnout and staff turnover that results. In passing, she mentions that management is aware of the issues but is more interested in anti-union propaganda. As is usually the case with posts like this, the employee does not mention the devasting effect this has on people who believe they are getting mental health treatment and instead get what is, at best substandard treatment. When this employee says, "avoid at all costs".
Commentary
Neighborhood erupts in outrage over Family Health Centers of San Diego's plans to exploit homeless in a highrise building. Apparently, FHCSD is unaware that cramming low-income residents into buildings like this was an experiment that failed in the 1960s https://t.co/SvPh15uRhy.
