Giving voice to victims of Family Health Centers of San Diego
FHCSD patient Anais Gutierrez, who used the mental health services of this organization reports that she was forced off a psychiatric medication she had been on for 10 years after her psychiatrist left the organization. As happened with the editor of this publication, FHCSD staff never bothered to tell her and instead waited until they found a replacement who was too lazy to even read her medical records and decided - because of her own incompetence, that the patient shouldn't be allowed to have these medications and rudely hung up on her. This would be unacceptable in ANY other organization but it is commonplace at FHCSD. It is almost certain that FHCSD charged Medi-Cal or the insurance company for the abusive treatment of this patient.

Neighborhood erupts in outrage over Family Health Centers of San Diego's plans to exploit homeless in a highrise building. Apparently, FHCSD is unaware that cramming low-income residents into buildings like this was an experiment that failed in the 1960s https://t.co/SvPh15uRhy.
